Rule 43
Information may be requested

(1) The office may request the following details from the employer in relation to the establishment operating the factory and it shall be the duty of the employer to provide the details requested by the office:-
(a) Details of physical assets held in the name of the establishment,
(b) Details of machinery tools and main equipment installed at the work site,
(c) Whether there is adequate lighting and ventilation in the workplace (d) If there is a situation where gas is released from the production process, whether there is an arrangement to remove the gas outside the establishment or not (e) Whether there is adequate provision of toilets at the workplace, or not (f) Whether or not clean drinking water is provided at the workplace (G) If plenty of water is required for the production process, whether there is provision for it in the establishment or not (h) Measures taken to minimize adverse effects on the environment during the operation of the establishment,
(i) Name and quantity of raw materials and auxiliary raw materials required annually for production work,
(j) The products produced by the establishment and the annual production capacity,
(k) Whether the things to be followed by the employer according to rule 39 have been followed.
(2) If it is found that the safety and health of the worker or any other person will be adversely affected from the health, safety and environmental point of view while examining the information received according to sub-rule (1), the office may instruct the employer to make necessary improvements. It will be the duty of the employer concerned to comply with the instructions given.
